Dante Networked Audio – Not Just for High Channel Counts

Dante networked audio is ideal for audio systems with large channel counts but it may also be utilized in much smaller systems.  It can often be economically viable to utilize Dante to transport one to four channels of audio over an existing Local Area Network when it would otherwise require the installation of dedicated audio cable between two buildings in a school, hospital, office complex or factory. Typically, fiber optic cable will be used to link the network in the two buildings and will provide inherent protection against ground loops and lightning. RDL now offers a variety of products that interface audio to and from a Dante audio network. Many of these products are available in two or four channel versions.
