ST-LCR Series Logic Controlled Relays – What do you need to control?

RDL ST-LCR Series Logic Controlled Relays are used in a variety of applications. From switching speaker loads in a sound system to providing pulses for lowering and raising projection screens or window blinds. They can be controlled from a variety of sources including switch closures, Open-Collector outputs from other RDL or third party products and control voltages ranging from 3.5 to 24 Vdc. There are four products in the ST-LCR Series:
  • st-lcr1ST-LCR1 Logic Controlled Relay with DPDT (2 X FORM C) Dry Contacts Rated at 60W (220 Vdc, 125 Vac, 2 A). The relay actuates (changes state) when an input signal is applied and de-actuates (reverts to normal) when the signal is removed. (AN-2016, AN-2021)

  • st-lcr1h ST-LCR1H High Power Logic Controlled Relay with DPDT (2 X FORM C) Dry Contacts Rating is 8 Amps @ 250 Vac or 30 Vdc (500 W Speaker Level). Other than the contact rating, the ST-LCR1H is nearly identical to the ST-LCR1.

  • st-lcr2 ST-LCR2 Alternate Action Logic Controlled Relay with DPDT (2 X FORM C) Dry Contacts Rated at 60W (220 Vdc, 125 Vac, 2 A). Relay actuation is latching. The relay actuates when an input signal is applied and released. The relay de-actuates when a second signal is applied and released. Pulse it ON and Pulse it OFF.

  • st-lcr3 ST-LCR3 Alternate Pulse Dual Relays with two discrete SPST Normally Open (FORM A) contacts each rated at 60W (220 Vdc, 125 Vac, 2 A). The START PULSE relay actuates for 250 ms when an input signal is applied. The END PULSE relay then actuates for 250 ms when the signal is removed.
