SF-ND2 The interface unit shall convert two Dante network channels to a stereo digital audio signal. One set of digital audio output connectors shall be provided. The set shall include an AES/EBU output on an XLR and two S/PDIF outputs, one coaxial on an RCA jack and one optical. A front-panel switch shall be provided to select between AES/EBU and S/PDIF electrical and bit formats. The XLR output shall be transformer isolated. The coaxial input shall have a continuous direct coaxial shield connection to the chassis. The Dante input sample rate shall be selectable to 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz or 96 kHz. The digital audio output shall operate at the same sample rate as the Dante input. Digital audio sources shall remain in the digital domain from the network input to the digital audio output. The unit shall be constructed in a steel enclosure equipped for mounting to any flat surface and compatible with RDL SysFlex mounting accessories. The unit shall operate from IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE power provided through the Ethernet cable. The unit shall be covered by a 3 year factory warranty. The Dante interface shall be an RDL SF-ND2.
